SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed with regards to the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The support place made for intervention click here activities a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and improve usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
